Nord France Invest builds a collaborative watch to promote economic attractiveness

Nord France Invest (NFI) is the economic promotion agency for the Hauts-de-France region. Its mission: to attract and support foreign investment in the region. To strengthen this action, NFI wanted to structure a collaborative monitoring approach.
The monitoring team is composed of two key members:
Jonathan Marie is Director of the Resource Center and Information Systems. With nearly 14 years of experience at NFI, Jonathan is a specialist in information management and business intelligence. He is responsible for the Regional Observatory of Foreign-Invested Companies (BEREC) and administers internal tools such as CRM and EDM. He holds a Master's degree in Document Engineering and Multimedia Mediation from the University of Lille III, and is constantly looking for the latest technologies to improve monitoring processes.
Pauline Fumery is a Documentary Research Officer at NFI. It specialises in the management of document monitoring and the analysis of economic information. With fifteen years of experience in similar positions, she previously worked as a monitoring officer and data manager at Hospimedia, CITC-EuraRFID and Explore. Pauline holds a Master's degree in Information, Communication, Culture and Document from the University of Lille III.
The team's main objective is to quickly identify investment opportunities and better support companies interested in the Hauts-de-France region. By setting up a collaborative watch, the team can follow global economic trends, anticipate legislative and regulatory developments, and stay informed on technological developments that influence regional competitiveness. This allows the agency to adapt its services in real time according to the needs of investors.
Monitoring also plays a strategic role for NFI in its ability to better detect potential investors, in addition to traditional prospecting operations. It contributes to maintaining a competitive advantage over other French or European regions, by allowing a rapid reaction to economic opportunities and threats. It also facilitates the preparation of the integration of companies into the regional ecosystem thanks to an updated vision of the infrastructures and partnerships available.
Results and impacts
We chose Curebot for its ability to foster cross-departmental collaboration while remaining simple and pleasant to use. It allows us to integrate several sources in real time, to structure our monitoring via personalized dashboards, and to detect weak signals in key sectors such as green industry or new technologies.
The collaborative side is a real lever: each member of the team can contribute in shared spaces, which facilitates thematic monitoring and access to essential information. The synchronization between our services is more fluid, especially between prospecting, projects and territorial marketing.
Curebot was quickly adopted by the team. And its developments, particularly with AI, open up new perspectives to further strengthen our monitoring. In six months, we have already been able to identify about thirty companies in the transport sector that we would not have detected otherwise.
